1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the GoodRemi mobile application ("App," "Service," or "GoodRemi"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between:
• You ("User," "you," or "your") — the individual or entity using the App
• Gaoov LLP ("Gaoov," "we," "us," or "our") — the corporate entity providing the App
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Description of Service
2.1 What GoodRemi Provides
GoodRemi is a mobile application developed by Gaoov that helps you:
- Store and organize product warranty information.
- Take photos of receipts and products.
- Receive local alerts before warranties expire.
- Search and filter your warranty database.
- Export and backup your data.
2.2 Free Tier
Free users receive:
- Unlimited product entries stored locally in SQLite database.
- Warranty expiration notifications on-device.
- Camera support for receipts and product photos.
- Fully responsive offline access and basic search functionality.
2.3 Premium Tier (₹299 Lifetime)
Premium users receive all Free Tier features plus:
- AI-powered receipt scanning utilizing secure, open-source LLM schemas.
- Cloud sync across unlimited devices (Supabase).
- Automatic cloud backup and priority support.
2.4 Service Availability
The App is provided "as is". Gaoov strives to provide high reliability but is not liable for data loss due to unforeseen local database corruption, hardware failures, or third-party service interruptions.
3. Account Creation and Security
3.1 Account Registration
To access syncing and premium features, you must register using a valid email address, select a secure password (min 8 characters), and verify your email.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Please notify us immediately at support@gaoov.in if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for breaches caused by your negligence.
3.3 Account Termination
You can delete your account under Settings → Account → Delete Account. This is permanent. Gaoov reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You may use GoodRemi to track personal, household, or small business equipment warranties. You are prohibited from:
- Storing illegal, fraudulent, or counterfeit product receipts.
- Uploading malware or malicious scripts.
- Reverse engineering or scraping the App infrastructure.
- Sharing account credentials or distributing premium features.
- Uploading explicit or offensive images.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Gaoov LLP owns the source code, design layout, brand assets, and content of the App. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App.
You retain full ownership of the text, data, and receipt photos you upload. You grant Gaoov a limited license to process and sync this data solely to provide the services.
7. Data and Privacy
Gaoov respects your privacy. All details regarding data collection, storage, and processing are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
You own your data. Gaoov is simply a custodian. You can export your data in JSON format or delete it permanently from our databases at any time.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
GoodRemi is a tool to assist you in tracking warranties. Gaoov does not verify warranties with manufacturers or guarantee that notifications will prevent expired warranties. You are solely responsible for filing claims. We are not liable if you miss claim deadlines due to app errors or delayed notifications.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gaoov LLP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or missed warranty claims. Our maximum liability to paid users is capped at the amount paid for the Premium upgrade (₹299). For free tier users, liability is ₹0.
10. Changes to Terms
Gaoov may modify these Terms. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of changes. For material changes, we will provide a 30-day notice via email or in-app banners.
11. Termination
These Terms remain active until terminated by either party. You may terminate by deleting your account and uninstalling the app. We may terminate your access immediately for material breaches.
12. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@gaoov.in to attempt informal resolution. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be settled via binding arbitration on an individual basis under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any litigation, arbitration, or dispute arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India.
13. Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, it will be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.
